Irish Times College progression report 2021. 88% of Leaving Certificate students from class of 2021 St Mary’s Secondary school Newport progressed to third level education.

Teachers regard homework as a very important part of school work for students. Each student is required to have a Journal. This is used to keep a record of the student’s written and memory homework, and to assist parents in ensuring that their children give the necessary attention to their homework.

St. Mary’s offers Supervised Study for our students under the guidance of experienced teachers in our school.
