Message from Ms. Thornton

Hope we all had a good week. ๐ŸŒŸ
Fridays are always a favourite at St Mary’s. Obviously the weekend is close. Theres an air of excitment.
Usually around 10.45 the beautiful smell of cookies makes it’s way around the school as we await all of the lovely friday treats from the canteen. Students will discuss what’s on for the weekend as they sit together. Teachers will share a cup of tea or coffee at break time and chat about their week and what’s planned for the coming days.
As a Clare woman teaching in a Tipperary school it can be the start of the slagging from students of the hurling games to come of a Sunday (this also causes some fear of a sunday night if the result hasnt gone my way๐Ÿคฃ)
Lockers are busy as our students pack their bags for study over the weekend. For some dentention is on the cards.who doesn’t love an extra hour at school!๐Ÿ˜‰

The past few weeks have made so many of us appreciate our lovely school and the brilliant people we meet every day, students and our whole school staff. We look forward to those fridays again the “See you Miss” “Have a good weekend Sir” and even the slagging!๐Ÿ˜‰

Enjoy the weekend. Be ready for another good week of work on Monday ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‘Œ
